CHAIRMAN
With over 30 years at the forefront of banking and finance, Harry has held senior leadership roles spanning investment banking, private banking, and family office management. Throughout his career, he has been recognized for delivering innovative, bespoke solutions to ultra-high-net-worth clients, with a particular emphasis on the MENA region, where he has cultivated deep, trusted relationships with family offices, sovereign clients, and business leaders.
Having held pivotal positions at leading global institutions such as JPMorgan, Barclays, and BNP Paribas, Harry combines extensive institutional knowledge with an unmatched network of contacts. This enables him to structure highly tailored investment solutions that focus on long-term value creation, wealth preservation, and inter-generational planning, ensuring that client objectives are achieved across multiple generations.
Renowned for his uncompromising focus and dedication, Harry guides families and institutions through increasingly complex financial markets with clarity, transparency, and integrity. His approach blends strategic insight with a hands-on, collaborative style, empowering clients to make confident, informed decisions. Matthew Hurst
HEAD OF PRIVATE CLIENTS
At H.J.B.Martin & Co. Matthew plays a central role in shaping and delivering an exceptional client experience. As Head of Private Clients, he oversees the full spectrum of client relationships, from strategy through to execution, ensuring that each engagement is seamless, responsive, and deeply aligned with clients’ long-term objectives. His leadership ensures continuity, discretion, and the highest standards of service, reinforcing the firm’s reputation as a trusted steward of wealth.
Known for his disciplined and thoughtful approach, Matthew integrates rigorous financial analysis with a clear understanding of individual client priorities. He specialises in the design and management of bespoke wealth management strategies that balance opportunity with risk, delivering results that reflect both conviction and prudence. His philosophy centers on transparency, trust, and enduring value creation.
Matthew concurrently serves as Head of Banking Relationships for a prominent ultra-high-net-worth family office, where he manages global financial institution partnerships and oversees multi-asset investment mandates. He brings over a decade of expertise spanning capital markets, structured credit, and portfolio risk management, advising on complex cross-border investments and liquidity solutions.
Matthew holds a BSc (Hons) in Economics and is an Associate of the Chartered Institute for Securities & Investment (CISI). He is an RDR Level 4 accredited front-office professional with extensive international experience, having held senior client-facing roles at leading institutions including Royal Bank of Canada, Standard Chartered Bank, and BNP Paribas.

Nick Edmunds
HEAD OF FAMILY SERVICES
Nick’s recent appointments include serving as Regional Managing Director for Equiom Group in the Middle East, overseeing both regulated and non-regulated trust and corporate services companies across the UAE, Qatar, and Saudi Arabia. In this capacity, he was responsible for leading regional strategy, governance, and client delivery, while expanding Equiom’s footprint within key Gulf markets and ensuring the highest standards of regulatory and fiduciary compliance.
Following this, Nick held the position of Global Head of Business Operations, where he led group-wide initiatives to enhance operational efficiency and scalability. His remit included driving transformation through process optimisation, people development, and the integration of digital and automation technologies, positioning the business for sustainable growth and improved client service delivery.
Nick is also a Non-Executive Director of Axys Group, a partner firm of H.J.B.Martin & Co., where he has overseen collaboration across the businesses to leverage shared resources, capabilities, and expertise within the group, ensuring a consistent and integrated client experience across jurisdictions.
As Head of Family Services at H.J.B.Martin & Co., Nick is responsible for the design and implementation of a comprehensive family services infrastructure for clients internationally. He works closely with families, advisors, and institutional partners to coordinate governance frameworks, fiduciary structures, succession planning, and administrative oversight, ensuring that each client benefits from a seamless, transparent, and enduring platform for wealth stewardship.
